I got the shorts all hemmed and the waist facings sewn in. That means that other than the snap tape and handwork (oh yes, and button holes!) I'm done with them.
I moved on to the shirts...and got the tucks in one of them. I had to restitch part of one multiple times to give it a passing grade. There is one thing I might recommend concerning tucks--do not do them while shaking. I have the shakes this afternoon and while I've had them worse, it's slightly disturbing. It's like this sensation is working all the way out from my core, down my limbs. In the end, it's making my fingers a little unsteady (which might be part of the reason I keep hitting the wrong keys on my keyboard here).
Anyway, back to the shirts. I finished the tucks on one of the shirts and then stitched the shoulder seams. From there I put on the revers and the neckline binding. I could have gone ahead and put in the sleeves, but as I'm really trying to do an outstanding job I called it quits.
I'd probably better go get started on supper...if I can figure out what Mama had in mind. :)
