This mock-up is for the bridesmaid dresses for my older sister's upcoming wedding. I ended up just making the bodice (to save fabric) and repurposed a man's shirt to do so! (Can't go wrong with black and white, y'all...) We knew the skirt would be fine...but we wanted to see how the bodice lines would look and if I, Miss Picky About Wearing What's Comfortable, would like it. But really, it was more about the lines. :) (It is a down-sized 1950's pattern.)
This is take three...give me time and I maybe can at least get Take 2 up. Take 1 never really got completed and is going to be finished up somehow for my younger sister. (I was going to cut the bodice off and make a skirt until she tried it on and it almost fit her to perfection.) This mock-up is for the bridesmaid dresses for my older sister's upcoming wedding. All in all, I am pleased with the way it looks/feels (I really kind of like it with the sweater underneath it!) and that it ended up being a wearable piece! Probably not the best sewn garment I've ever made, but I literally threw it together in a day...
